In Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia illigal dogfights take places regularly within underground societies. While they set their dogs life at risk, gambling occurs for a small amount of 50 US dollars per fight. When one of the dogs clearly have prevailed they separate them so that they may be used again. After the fight both dogs were highly injured and the owners used steroids as medication.
